You’ll be far better off taking a course you like and doing well in it. I can promise you that no Ivy requires U.S. history, because they take so many foreign students.

The University of Texas at Austin does accept dual credits (if transferable). If you have earned any college credit (including dual credit) while in high school, please request that the college or university send official transcripts to UT Austin. We will then determine which courses transfer to the university.
